Interview Options

Ok everyone, I have an interview scheduled for this week (prayers please!) and the fashionista that I am, I am worried about what I should wear. I know I should keep it simple and relaxed, not too distracting, and keep along the guidelines of business casual. If you follow my fashiondiaries on Instagram, you know I am everything but those things. I love bright colors and crazy patterns, pattern mixing, and fun shoes! I decided to get on Polyvore and create an interview set, which I shouldn't have done because now I want to go buy these exact pieces and the nearest shopping center to me is AN HOUR AND A HALF AWAY!! Anyway, I figured I would share this with all of my classyclosetconfession friends in case you too may have an interview or business casual event in your future! You can find the info on these affordable pieces here.

Grapes + DIY...

So for this Friday's DIY sesh I decided to go with a GRAPE FACIAL...cray right? Well according to Women's Day mag, women for Chile credit grapes for their glowing skin. Take a handful of grapes, add 2 tablespoons of flour and mash into a paste. Leave on face for 10 minutes then rinse with warm water.  voila, beautifuly glowy skin!!

Wash your grapes

Smash your grapes

Add in the Flour (forgot to take a pic)

Apply to face and leave for 10 minutes. Yes that is a grape particle on my face. Do I care that I look crazy? ..No not really :) Happy Friday!!!!!

Old Navy Style

Hey everyone! Sorry I have been MIA lately! I have just had A LOT going on and in any free time I do have, I have been preparing for our move soon! Anyway, have any of you been into an OLD NAVY lately? They have some really amazing stuff! The first look I created has theme of ORANGE AND BLUE...I am absolutely loving this color combo lately and I set it off with some fun shoes! The second look is a beautiful swimsuit. I couldn't import one of their cover ups but I love to make swim suits  part of an outfit...especially if I am on vacation! Pair this suit with cute wedges like these blue ones and a simple cover up and you are set! The last look is a fun, comfy day in the sun look! I spend a lot of time at baseball tournaments during the summer. The look I go for is comfy, cool and something that doesn't scream I HAVE BEEN AT A BASEBALL TOURNAMENT ALL DAY when we go shopping or eating afterwards! You can find this polyvore set here. Hope Monday is treating you well and I promise to blog this week!!

Tip Time!

Hello! Checking in for the first time this week and thought I would share a quick tip with you! I have tried it and LOVED it. If you use a makeup sponge to apply foundation.. dampen it with a bit of water and then squeeze excess. Continue on with applying your foundation. You will see that dampening the sponge helps your foundation not look too cake-y! Have a happy Wednesday!
